Sophomore Retreat is a program available to soon-to-be sophomores; the goal of this program is to help students prepare to make their mark at UNT. It provides students a chance to learn about UNT’s opportunities, connect with other leaders on campus, and grow as individuals. The Retreat experience is designed to look at being a sophomore from many different angles. Students who attend can expect to take away information about campus involvement, volunteer opportunities, leadership, Class Cause, and academic programs. Attendees are also encouraged to examine themselves and the impact of their beliefs and values on their college experience.
Students interested in attending should contact Rachael White at Rachael.White@unt.edu or at 940-565-4373. Space is limited, so sign up today!
Life After Birth is a program about living and persevering after struggling with adversity. Once a teen mom, Author Summer Owens talks about her life and how she was able to accomplish her dreams through hard work and determination.
Sponsored by UNT’S Campus Life and Women’s Center.
