Orientation Fee
The student fee for Transfer Orientation is $58. This fee includes all materials, meals, a t-shirt, staffing, administrative costs, and year-long orientation activities.
How to Register for Orientation
To register for an orientation session, log in at http://my.unt.edu with your EUID and password. Once logged in, click Student Center, then Register for Orientation. Register early as sessions fill up quickly.
About Transfer Orientation
All freshmen who graduated from high school in 2012, regardless of the number of earned college credits, are considered freshmen and are not eligible to attend Transfer Orientation. All students who graduate from high school the spring prior to enrolling at UNT are required to attend Freshman Orientation regardless of transfer credit.
In order to assist you with your transition to UNT, all new students are required to attend an orientation session. For transfer students, orientation is a 1-day experience. All students are required to participate in all orientation activities. Plan to be on campus until 5:00 p.m.

Transfer Orientation Brochure
Once you have been admitted to UNT, be on the lookout for the Transfer Orientation Brochure. It should arrive via the postal service two week after you are admitted to the university. Click here to download a copy. (pdf)
