Program Overview

TIME is a collaborative program series targeting new students at the University of North Texas.  Freshman and transfer students will have the opportunity to participate in programs helping them become aware of campus resources and other opportunities at UNT.  Programs within TIME will provide resources to help students overcome challenges, succeed academically, and integrate into campus life.

Party in the Park - Wednesday, April 11, 2012

Celebrate the successful completition of your first year at UNT with fellow students in Crumley Park!  Party in the Park is an annual event hosted by the office of Orientation & Transition Programs to celebrate the end of the academic year.  Join us for music, food, games, and prizes!

First Year Photo Project (FYPP)

Interested in photography?  Like to take pictures for fun?  The First Year Photo Project (FYPP) is a new initiative included in the Freshman Program T.I.M.E. series.  Be a part of the inaugural class who documents their first year at UNT with pictures!  Attend the information meeting scheduled during First Flight Week to learn more about the project and how you can participate.

Extreme Makeover Residence Hall Edition

Extreme Makeover Residence Hall Edition is a contest for students who live on campus in one of UNT's 14 residence halls.  The purpose of this contest is to show how a plain/empty residence hall room can undergo an “Extreme Makeover” and be transformed into a nicely decorated room that shows off your creativity or your school spirit or your savvy decorating skills.  More information can be found on the contest's Facebook page.

The Claw is a biweekly newsletter for first year students produced by Orientation & Transition Programs.  The newsletter is created to help connect new students to the different programs and services offered at UNT.  Click here to view the current issue or to browse our archive.
