Transfer Ambassadors
The Transfer Ambassador program is designed to provide incoming transfer students the opportunity to connect with fellow transfer students, campus resources, and faculty and staff. It is impossible for a new transfer student to know all the ins and outs of college life at UNT so Transfer Ambassadors (Trans Ams) are there to support Transfer Students during their transition to life at UNT. Trans Ams are transfer students who have been at UNT at least a year and are paid employees within the Transfer Center. In addition to serving as a mentor, they also help plan programs to meet the needs of UNT's growing transfer population and serve as a liaison between transfer students and the UNT administration. To contact a Trans Am, please call 940-369-7287 or email transfer@unt.edu.
