Transfer Resources

Lockers

The Transfer Center has lockers available for transfer students who may need a place to store books, lunch/dinner, or other supplies while in class. We realize many transfer students commute to campus and may have a full day of class when they come to campus. The goal of the lockers is to provide transfer students with a safe place to keep their belongings so they do not have to carry them to every class.

To utilize the lockers, simply come by the Transfer Center (Union, Suite 320) and a student assistant will be able to issue you a locker for personal use.

Transfer REAL Community

Collaborating with the Transfer Center, the Transfer REAL Community has a unique experience that caters to the needs of transfer students.  This community is for transfer students who want to take advantage of a built-in support group to smooth the transition period that transfer students face by living together in Traditions Hall.  The transfer wing is staffed with upperclassmen resident assistants (RA), who are also transfer students. In addition to the programs RAs plan specifically for their residents, which are often more resource-based, Transfer Ambassadors work closely with RAs to plan additional programs that meet the individual needs of these students.
